For the first time since 2006 and thanks to a tip from Rutger I can share with you a detailed models ranking for Cyprus today. The Cypriot new car market is down a worrying 22% year-on-year in 2012 to 10,445 registrations, however that doesn’t mean all models take a hit. The Ford Fiesta remains the most popular car in the country thanks to 873 sales and 8.4% share, down 11%. It is now followed by the Toyota Yaris, up a huge 158% and 8 spots on 2011 thanks to the new generation to 613 units and 5.9%. The Hyundai ix35 rounds up the podium with 600 sales and 5.7%, up 37%.
