After falling horrendously at the start of the year (-48% in January!, -49% in February!), the Croatian new car market is back in positive territory in April at +7% to 2,813 registrations. The year-to-date total now stands at 8,850 units, down 34% on 2012. Volkswagen manages a one-two this month, placing the Polo in pole position at an outstanding 210 sales and 7.5% and the Golf at #2 with 169 units and 6% (but still #1 year-to-date with 497 sales and 5.6%). The Opel Astra rounds up the podium at 146 units and 5.2% followed by the Opel Insignia very impressive again with 94 sales and 3.3%. Notice also the Opel Corsa back up to #5 and the Kia Sportage up to #7.
