Bahrain February 2013: BMW 7 Series impresses at #16




The Bahraini new car market is up 11% year-on-year in February to 4,155 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 8,513 units, up 25% on 2012. The Toyota Land Cruiser holds onto its pole position with 304 sales and 7.3%, ahead of the Toyota Prado at 280 units and 6.7% while the Toyota Hilux brilliantly jumps onto the podium, up 10 spots to #3 with 234 sales and 5.6%. The Nissan D22 is up 4 ranks to #4, the Honda Accord up 20 to #13, Kia Sportage up 30 to #14, the BMW 7 Series is up from outside the Top 80 in January to #16, the GMC does the same to #21 and the Ford Edge is up 41 to #70.
